Peter A. Roush is a founding member of Roush & Stilz, P.S.C. Peter is admitted to the practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He began his legal practice as a Kenton County Public Advocate until 2004 when he took a position as a Kenton County Assistant Attorney. In 2007, he was honored with the Juvenile Justice Award, as the County Attorney Association's Juvenile Attorney of the Year.
Peter is a graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. While attending law school he was active in both student government and Moot Court. He is also a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and he has also earned a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice from Eastern Kentucky University.
Peter has been a strong advocate for equal justice for all in the community. He is currently a member of Partners in Prevention a Covington based organization created to aid the community through education and personal responsibility.
As an Assistant County Attorney, Peter worked closely with schools to create a program that has decreased truancy in Kenton County by almost fifty percent (50%). He has a strong belief that education is the way to promote self growth in the youth of Kenton County.
Through his positions at the Kenton County Attorney's Office and the Kenton County Public Advocate's office, he has had extensive trial and motion practice.
Peter is also an educator. He is an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University where he teaches Introduction To Law. He also currently teaches at Thomas More College.
